FREE Summer Camp for Kids

FREE Summer Camp for Youth Ages 15 – 21 with disabilities. For two weeks discover and explore your perfect future job and 1) What is your dream job? 2) What does it take to get a job? 3) What does it mean to have a job? 4) How do you become a ‘star’ employee? 5) How to speak up for yourself. Lunch and field trips are included. Two sessions are available. Students must have a 504 plan or IEP to qualify. Program is sponsored by Vocational Rehabilitation.

Summer Employment Needs?

Need summer employees at no cost to you? St Andrew Bay Center is now looking for jobs for summer students. We are looking to place these student in all fields such as retail, child care, stocking, restaurant, janitorial, car wash, etc. These students are eligible for summer On the Job Training (OJT) which is a program sponsored and paid for by the Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).

Your future employee is a high school graduate who attended Ohio State University and recently moved to Panama City from Ohio. He has been recognized several times in school and at work for perfect attendance. He is reliable, conscientious, consistent and hard-working. He would really like to wash dishes for a business on the west end of Panama City Beach. Do you have a place for him?

Your future employee is a very experienced cook who is looking for a job in his field. He has worked in small and large kitchens and has experience in fast food and delicatessen establishments and has some kitchen management experience. He can operate a cash register, is comfortable handling money and has superior customer service skills. He is available to begin working immediately. He loves his work and it shows!

Your future employee recently graduated from Chautauqua Learn and Serve. This person is kind, well groomed, conscientious and reliable. They would like to work as a store clerk or greeter. This person has volunteered extensively, works well with others and can begin working immediately. Will you give this person a chance???

Your future employee has an AS degree from GCSC in Computer Programming and Analysis coupled with over ten years working with computers. He would like an entry level job in accounting, data entry or computer programming to gain experience. He is reliable, bright, diligent, easy to get along with, loyal and pays great attention to detail. He would make a great addition to any team and is eligible for OJT, a program that provides an incentive for employers who hire St. Andrew Bay Center clients.

Employment Highlight 4.4.17

Your future employee is an outgoing and caring individual who desires a position working with others. This person has many years’ experience in both the caregiving and hospitality industries and is interested in working as a hostess/greeter in a restaurant atmosphere; or would be just as comfortable providing sitter or respite care to persons in need of such services. This person is interested in part time work and is available to begin working immediately and also has their own transportation and a valid FL Driver’s license.

Your future employee is a single dad with a stable work history. He is friendly, reliable and was once a CNA. He would like to work as a host, as a caretaker or somewhere that he has contact with the public. He is organized, conscientious and meticulous and loves to serve others. He would make a great addition to any team and is eligible for OJT, a program that provides an incentive for employers who hire our clients.
